Margaritelli Ferroviaria has adopted the Model of Organization, Management, and Control in accordance with the Legislative Decree no. 231 of 8 June 2001 (shortly said the “model 231”), that introduced into the Italian Law a system in which organizations – including corporations – have administrative liability for unlawful acts committed by any representative of the company, such as directors, managers, or employees, in the interest or to the benefit of the organization, to prevent such offenses.

    Margaritelli Ferroviaria has adopted its Organisational Model to establish a comprehensive system of guiding principles, operating procedures, and other specific supervisory measures based on criteria of good management practice. The Organisational Model is also intended to specifically prevent the perpetration of the unlawful acts set out in the Legislative Decree.

    According to its Model 231, Margaritelli Ferroviaria has appointed a Supervisory Body (named “Organismo di Vigilanza”, or O.d.V. for short), with autonomous powers of initiative and control, responsible to oversee and verify the implementation, the effectiveness, and the compliance of the organizational model and to keep it updated.

    Moreover, Margaritelli Ferroviaria has stated its Code of Ethics, addressed to directors, supervisory bodies, management, all employees, and those who operate, directly or indirectly, permanently or temporarily, in the pursuit of the company’s objectives.


The Code provides a set of rules of conduct to be observed in the performance of professional duties in the relations with shareholders, colleagues, customers, suppliers, partners, public institutions, political and labor union organizations, and all the other stakeholders whom Margaritelli Ferroviaria has relations with. Margaritelli Ferroviaria hopes its stakeholders will be able to identify themselves with the principles of the Code of Ethics is based on, and share and apply them as the foundation for a relationship based on mutual trustworthiness.
